Read a floor plan as a way of living
What circulation, proportion and room connections can tell you before a visit.

Trace an ordinary day
Imagine arriving with groceries, getting ready in the morning and hosting a friend. Trace the routes between the spaces you use together. Notice door swings, corridors and where furniture could interrupt movement.
Check the scale against your needs
List the furniture or equipment you plan to keep and compare it with verified room dimensions. Do not infer exact measurements from a marketing illustration. Ask for clarification when a plan, photograph and description appear inconsistent.
Use the plan to ask better questions
A plan is a helpful companion to photography and an in-person visit. It cannot establish condition, permissions or the quality of natural light by itself. Bring the questions it raises into the viewing so the conversation is specific and useful.
